Guinea is a French-speaking country located on the Western coast of the African content, bordered by Guinea Bissau, Senegal and Mali to the north and Sierra Leone, Liberia and Côte d’Ivoire to the south. The country has an area of about 245,860 km2 and a population of 12.4 million. Approximately 38% of the country’s population lives in urban areas and Conakry is the capital.
