Myanmar is a country in SouthEast Asia with a total area of 678,500 square kilometers and a population of 53.37 million. Myanmar is a land of villages, except for a few large cities namely Yangon, Mandalay, Moulmein etc. Around 70% of its population is settled in rural areas and a small share of 30% are settled in urban areas. Naypyidaw is the capital and Burmese is the official language.
