Located in the eastern Caribbean, the island state of Grenada consists of three main islands-Grenada, Carriacou, and Petite Martinique, as well as a number of smaller islands. Together the islands cover 344 square kilometers, and has a population of 112,000 (2018). More than 90 percent of the population lives on Grenada, and about one-third reside in the national capital of St. George’s. The official language is English.
